I LOST THE CAT

You’re cat sitting for your friend when you wake up from a nap to find that their cat, Oreo, has escaped! 

With your friend on the way home, its up to you to explore the neighborhood, solve problems and think fast to catch the troublesome kitty before time runs out.

I LOST THE CAT is a casual puzzle game that focuses on polished pixel art environments, cozy vibes, and cats.

While short, it is a proof of concept of mechanics such as side scrolling exploration, environmental obstacles and a 1 item inventory system. It could be expanded upon by adding more places in the town to explore, more creative obstacles and items, and potentially more cats to find, each with their own unique quirks to discover.
